Gateway of India
The Gateway of India is an important historic monument of India. It was built during the British Raj and was opened on 4th December 1924. This was built for the welcome of Queen Victoria. It is the most visited tourist attraction in Mumbai. It is located in Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai. It is easily reached from Churchgate or CST railway station, from there a taxi can be hired to reach here.
What is more beautiful than a coastline stretching over the city, Marine Drive offers you exactly that. It is a 4km long natural bay which will take your breath away. It is my favourite place. If you visit Mumbai then you should definitely come to Marine Drive. It will be one the most cherished moment of your life. (Visit during the monsoon, it will just lift up your spirits). Take a taxi from Marine Lines railway station or from Churchgate station.
Jehangir Art Gallery
Jehangir Art Gallery is the one of oldest art galleries in Mumbai. The gallery was inaugurated in 1952. This beautiful art gallery is located at Kala Ghoda in South Mumbai. Make sure to visit this amazing art gallery.

Haji Ali Dargah
Haji Ali Dargah is one of the most sacred places in Mumbai. It is located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the South Mumbai. Near the heart of the city, the dargah is one of the most recognisable landmarks of Mumbai.
It only 2km distance away from Mahalakshmi railway station (Western line) and 3.3 km away from Byculla railway station(Central line). You can hire a can from either of these stations.
Prince of Wales Museum
Prince of Wales Museum is official museum of Mumbai which is located in the Fort area in Mumbai. This museum is now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mumbai.
Timings: - 10.15 am to 6 pm (Everyday)
Tickets: - Adult(above 12 years): 70/- , Children: 50/-,Foreigners :500/-. There are extra charges for Mobile phones and camera.

Elephanta caves are a bunch of sculpted caves located on Elephanta Island or Gharapuri in Mumbai Harbour, 11 km from the Gateway of India, Mumbai. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mumbai. To reach Elephanta Caves one has to take the ferry service from the Gateway of India.
The ferry will cost upto 150/- for Luxury class return ticket and 120/- for Econmy class return ticket.
The first ferry from GOI is at 9 am and the the last ferry is at 2 pm.
The first return ferry from Elephanta is at 12 pm and the last ferry is 5.30 pm. The ferry comes in every 30 minutes. The caves are closed on Monday.
Juhu Beach is a popular beach in Juhu area. It stretches for 6 km upto Versova . It is a popular tourist attraction throughout the year. You can often see here shooting of many movies. The food court at its entrance is famous for Pav Bhaji. The best time to visit Juhu is in the monsoons.
The nearest railway station from Juhu beach is Vile Parle station and santacruz railway station. It is a 3km distance from Vile Parle railway station. You can hire an Auto rickshaw or bus to reach here.
Sanjay Gandhi National Park
The Sanjay Gandhi National Park, also known as Borivali National park, which lies within the border of the city. It covers an area of 104 sq km. It is one of Asia’s most visited national parks with 2 million annual visitors. It has the famous Lion safari and train safari. It is a 10 minute walk from Borivali railway station.

Girgaum Chowpatty is a popular beach which is located between the Marine Drive and Girgaum area of Mumbai. During Ganesh Chaturthi, this beach is flooded with people and Ganesha idols. This beach is famous for its various eateries and delicacies. It is one of the most beautiful tourist attraction in Mumbai. The best time to visit is in the morning.
Board a local train from Churchgate station to Charni Road, It is 1 km walking distance from Charni Road railway station.
Bandra-Worli Sea Link
Bandra-Worli Sea link is an Engineering Achievement in India. This type of bridge has never ben built in India earlier. It connects Bandra and Worli area of Mumba in the shortest way. It took 10 years to construct this bridge. The view from the sea link is just breath taking. Now, it is one of the popular tourist attractions in Mumbai. You have to pay toll to use the sea link.
